[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
