The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
