And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
