A numerous company from among the first, 39 and a throng of the later folk. 40 As for the people on the left hand, how miserable they will be! 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 and the shadow of a smoking blaze 43 neither cold nor graceful in shape. 44 Surely they had lived before in luxury, 45 and would persist in heinous sinning, 46 And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 47 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 48 Say thou: verily the ancients and those of later generations: 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers, 51 Most surely eat of a tree of Zaqqoom, 52 And will fill your bellies therewith; 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 Drinking the way thirsty camels drink. 55 Such will be their welcome on Judgment Day! 56 It is We who have created you. Why then did you not testify to the Truth? 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 did you create it or did We? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 from changing the nature of your existence and bringing you into being [anew] in a manner [as yet] unknown to you. 61 And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember? 62 Ponder upon the soil you till, 63 Is it you or We Who make them grow? 64 If We will We can make it like dry trampled hay, so you would keep crying out. 65 'We are debt-loaded; 66 Nay! we are deprived. 67 And have you seen the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it from the rainclouds to come down, or are We the Causer of it to come down? 69 Had We wanted, We could have made it salty. Why then do you not give thanks? 70 Tell Me! The fire which you kindle, 71 Produce ye the tree thereof, or are We the Producer? 72 We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts. 73 Then, exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
