The Fig (Al-Teen)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 and this land secure! 3 We indeed created Man in the fairest stature 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
