The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
