Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
