And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr). Sent down in Mecca after Joseph (Yousuf) before Animals (Al-An 'aam)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
