What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
