The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
