۞ Who is then more unjust than he who utters a lie against Allah and (he who) gives the lie to the truth when it comes to him; is there not in hell an abode for the unbelievers? 32 But he who brought the Truth, and those who confirmed it as true, such are the ones who shall be guarded against the chastisement. 33 They shall have what they will of their Lord's bounty. That is the reward of the good: 34 So that Allah will do away with the worst of what they did and give them their reward for the best of what they do. 35 Is it not that Allah suffices His worshiper, even though they frighten you with those other than Him? He whom Allah leads astray has no guide. 36 And none can lead him astray who has been guided by God. Is not God all-mighty, the lord of retribution? 37 If thou askest them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' they will say, 'God.' Say: 'What think you? That you call upon apart from God -- if God desires affliction for me, shall they remove His affliction? Or if He desires mercy for me, shall they withhold His mercy?' Say: 'God is enough for me; in Him all those put their trust who put their trust.' 38 Say: "O people, act as best you can on your part, I am acting too. You will come to know in time 39 whom the degrading chastisement will visit and upon whom the everlasting chastisement will alight. 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
