Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
