1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
Said the Council of the unbelievers of his people, who cried lies to the encounter of the world to come, and to whom We had given ease in the present' life, 'This is naught but a mortal like yourselves, who eats of what you eat and drinks of what you drink. 33 And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers. 34 Does he promise you that after you die and become dust and bones you will be brought back to life again? 35 ۞ After, after with that which you are promised! 36 This is our only life. We live and will die but we will never be brought back to life again. 37 He is naught but a man who has forged a lie against Allah, and we are not going to believe in him. 38 He said, 'O my Lord, help me, for that they cry me lies.' 39 [Allah] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful." 40 Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! 41 Thereafter, after them, We produced other generations; 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 And We sent forth Our apostles, one after another: [and] every time their apostle came to a community, they gave him the lie: and so We caused them to follow one another [into the grave,] and let them become [mere] tales: and so - away with the folk who would not believe! 44 We then sent Moosa and his brother Haroon, with Our signs and a clear proof. 45 Unto Fir'awn and his chiefs, but they grew stiff-necked, and they were a people self-exalting. 46 And said: "Should we believe in two men like yourselves, whose people are our subjects?" 47 So they rejected them, calling them liars, and they too eventually became of those that were destroyed. 48 And We gave the Book to Moses so that they may be guided. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a miracle and settled them on a high land, quite secure and watered by a spring. 50

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
