The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
