The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Alif, Lam, Meem. 1 This is the exalted Book (the Qur’an), in which there is no place for doubt; a guidance for the pious. 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 And who believe in that which hath been sent down unto thee and that which hath been sent down before thee and of the Hereafter they are convinced. 4 These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. 5 As for those who are bent on denying the truth, it makes no difference to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them. 7
