And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And other similar torments. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
