Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
