Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, writers 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
