The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
