The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
