Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe to those who pray 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
