The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
