We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
