۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
