Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
