۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
