The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 By the angels hastening, 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
