The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
