Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
