Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" 169 So We saved him and his whole family 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
