We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
