What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
