The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
