AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Moosa said to him, “May I stay with you upon the condition that you will teach me the righteousness that you have been taught?” 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
