We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
