Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
