Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE CONCRETE REALITY. 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 And what do you know what that indubitable event is? 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the awful cry! 5 and the Ad were destroyed by a furiously raging wind-storm 6 Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. 7 and dost thou now see any remnant of them? 8 The Pharaoh, those who lived before him and the people of the Subverted Cities all persisted in doing evil. 9 and they rebelled against the Messenger of their Lord, and He seized them with a surpassing grip. 10 Verily when the water rose to great heights, We bore you upon a floating vessel (i.e. the Ark) 11 as a lesson for you, but only attentive ears will retain it. 12 Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one), 13 And the earth and the mountains are borne away and crushed with a single crushing. 14 then, on that day, the Terror shall come to pass, 15 And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up, 16 The angels will stand on all its sides. And on that Day, eight (of them) will carry the Throne of your Lord above them. 17 On that day all of you will be brought forth, so none among you wishing to hide will be able to hide. 18 Those who will receive the books of the records of their deeds in their right hands will say, "Come and read my record. 19 "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!" 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 in a high Garden, 22 Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near. 23 “Eat and drink with pleasure the reward of what you sent ahead, in the past days.” 24 But whosoever gets his ledger in his left hand, will say: "Would that I were never given my ledger, 25 and knew nothing of my reckoning. 26 Oh! Would that the death that came to me in the world had made an end of me! 27 My wealth has not helped me a thing 28 "My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!" 29 Lay hold on him, then put a chain on him, 30 Then into Hellfire drive him. 31 “Then bind him inside a chain which is seventy arm-lengths.” 32 for, behold, he did not believe in God, the Tremendous, 33 Nor did he urge the feeding of the poor. 34 so today he has no friend here, 35 nor any food save the filth 36 Which none but sinners eat. 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
