The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
