Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 into the boiling water, then into the Fire they are poured; 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
