▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 With spreading branches; 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
