Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
