The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 taught man what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. 7 truly, all will return to your Lord. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Have you thought that if he denies and turns away, 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 his lying sinful forelock. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
