We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them, that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them, on the Day of Judgment. 93 But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers. 94 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 even though every sign comes to them, until they see the painful punishment. 97 Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 98 And if thy Lord had willed, whoever is in the earth would have believed, all of them, all together. Wouldst thou then constrain the people, until they are believers? 99 Are you going to compel the people to believe except by God's dispensation? He puts doubt in (the minds of) those who do not think. 100 Say, "Look at whatever [exists] in heavens and on earth." But signs and warnings do not benefit the unbelievers. 101 Can they expect anything but what the people before them had known? Say: "Then wait. I am waiting with you." 102 Thereafter We delivered Our apostles and those who believed. Even so, as incumbent upon us, We deliver the believers. 103
