T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We did not bestow the Qur'an on thee from on high to make thee unhappy, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 And if thou say anything aloud, [He hears it] since, behold, He knows [even] the secret [thoughts of man] as well as all that is yet more hidden [within him]. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 Recall what time he saw a fire and said to his household, bide ye! verily I have perceived a fire! haply I may bring you from it a brand or may find at the fire a guidance. 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 'Why, it is my staff,' said Moses. 'I lean upon it, and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep; other uses also I find in it. 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit it will come out shining white, not due to any illness one more sign.” 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
