۞ O people! You are dependant on Allah; and Allah only is the Independent (Absolute, Not Needing Anything), the Most Praiseworthy. 15 He could take you away if He pleased and bring a new creation (in your place). 16 That surely is not difficult for Allah. 17 Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light. 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
