The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
