What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
