۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
