The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
