And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
